In the Episcopal Church we are a people of the table and each Sunday we gather both to share the word of Christ with one another and to share in the sacrament of the Eucharist. Prayer is inseparable from Christian life, but how we pray is a largely personal decision. As a community of diverse worshipers, we offer a number of ways in which to engage in prayer. Centering Prayer:
A Centering Prayer group meets every Thursday in the Church from 7-8:30PM. Centering prayer is a type of meditative prayer in which without words and thoughts you seek oneness with God. The group also spends a part of their time together meditating on various readings. Contact: Carol Poston
