Anyone who feels called to ministry in the church is encouraged to speak to a priest. In the Episcopal Church persons who feel called to ordained ministry must be sponsored by a congregation and follow the process of the local diocese. The Diocese of Chicago offers several opportunities for baptized adults to discern their vocations.
